The first known photograph of the White House, c. 1846

The White House Historical Association offers selected exhibition quality prints of White House subjects from public archival collections as a special collector's item. These high quality prints use photographic papers designed to resist fading and color shifting for up to 100 years. Print sizes of 11 x 14 inches and 16 x 20 inches have a 1/2 inch border to protect the image during the matting process. All 11 x 14 inch prints have a 16 x 20 inch matt (see photo) and all 16 x 20 prints have a 20 x 24 inch matt. Please allow up to three weeks for printing, matting, and delivery of all exhibition quality photographic prints. Any additional items purchased through the Museum Shop will be shipped separately. To ensure your prints are not damaged in shipment, they will be individually hand packaged and shipped Federal Express. For this specialized service, a packing and delivery charge of $25 will be applied to each print.
