THE TIFFANY WHITE HOUSE : A Conversation with Artist Peter Waddell

White House Historical Association Historian and Webmaster William B. Bushong interviews artist Peter Waddell about his paintings of the Red Room, Blue Room, and Entrance Hall depicting the opulent 1882 White House redecoration executed by Louis Comfort Tiffany. The association has commissioned Waddell to paint a series of paintings that capture “forgotten” scenes of the White House and its grounds in the nineteenth century.
