The White House Historical Association is partnering with local Washington, D.C., restaurants and bars to offer a wide variety of specials for those attending the Presidential Sites Summit, August 27-30, 2018.

The Jefferson Hotel

The Jefferson Hotel’s Quill has special Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton-themed drinks, and will be offering a 10% off discount to those wearing a PSS name badge.

The Occidental

The Occidental will be offering a specialty cocktail for the Summit called The Breakfast of Presidents made with Bold Rock Rose Cider, Palmetto Apple Pie Moonshine, Lemon Juice, Pineapple, and Barcode Apple Bitters.

Teddy & The Bully Bar

Teddy & The Bully Bar will be serving its specialty cocktail, The Trustbuster, and will also give 10% off discount to those wearing a PSS name badge.

Lincoln

Lincoln will be serving its specialty cocktail, The Gettysburg Negroni, and will also give 10% off discount to those wearing a PSS name badge.

Martin's Tavern

Martin's Tavern, the historic Georgetown tavern where then-Senator John F. Kennedy proposed to Jacqueline Bouvier, will serve their famous JFK’s favorite: Clam Chowder and Nixon’s favorite: Meatloaf & Mashed Potatoes. One may also see the Truman Booth, JFK Booths, Rayburn-LBJ Booth and Nixon Booth upon his/her visit.

The Hay-Adams

The Hay-Adams’ Off the Record will be offering three specialty Presidential drinks for $19 each: McKinley’s Delight, The Roosevelt Mint, and The Truman’s Special. Come by to learn the history behind each of these three Presidents’ favorite drinks!

The Willard InterContinental

The Willard InterContinental is home to this year’s Summit. So there is no better place than The Round Robin Bar to try two specialty cocktails : their world-famous Mint Julep, first introduced by Senator Henry Clay at the bar, as well as a new cocktail called The Lobbyist which was made specifically for the Summit! Did we mention both cocktails come at the discounted price of only $12 each to those wearing a PSS name badge.

The Madison

The bar housed in the Madison Hotel, PostScript, will be offering two specialty cocktails, a classic Manhattan and the Stonewall, both signature favorite drinks dating back to President James Madison’s inauguration. PostScript will also be offering a Mid-Atlantic specialty menu inspired by President Madison: Chicken Consommé, Monticello Garden Salad, Chesapeake Rockfish, and a Baked Apple Crisp.

Old Ebbitt Grill

The Old Ebbitt Grill will be offering a President cocktail, "1600 Sangria," which is a traditional red sangria.

Café Milano

Café Milano opened on the day President Clinton was elected to his first term. This powerbrokers’ restaurant created a delicious Presidential themed menu specifically for the Presidential Sites Summit.
