Silk Printed Tie

The brightly colored pattern on this festive holiday tie was inspired by an historic drawing made in 1901 of Santa visiting the White House. Carrying a sack overflowing with toys for President Theodore Roosevelt's six children, a jolly Santa is depicted crossing the snow covered White House grounds.

100% silk. Printed in France for the White House Historical Association.
