The Avenue in the Rain Compact Umbrella

The design of this umbrella incorporates a painting by the American impressionist Frederick Childe Hassam entitled The Avenue in the Rain. One of about thirty related patriotic paintings of flag-decorated streets produced during and immediately following World War I, this scene of vibrant American flags hung along a rain-slicked Fifth Avenue in New York City has been chosen by some presidents to hang in the Oval Office.

The umbrella is available in two styles: stick and compact. Both styles feature automatic open and wooden handles.
