This special edition was produced to accompany C-SPAN’s First Ladies: Influence and Image, an original series exploring America’s first ladies, their lives, the times in which they lived, and their effect on the country.
Illustrated with formal portraits of the first ladies, this new edition now includes the official White House portrait of Laura Bush, which was unveiled in 2012 and now hangs in the in the Ground Floor Corridor.
