The Red Room Scarf

The Red Room Scarf features floral motifs used throughout the Red Room. The central image on the scarf is based on a basket of flowers woven into a silk covering on the fireplace screen in the Red Room. The basket is surrounded by a ring of flowers derived from a pattern on the room’s carpet, while gold tassels similar to those on the upholstery re featured on the scarf’s corners. Made in France for the White House Historical Association. 100% silk, handrolled hem. Gift box presentation. (33" square)
