Lauren McGwin manages the production of the Association's major books. She is a regular contributor to White House History Quarterly writing on topics such as White House china and furniture, the first ladies, and White House weddings. Lauren received her Masters of Art in the History of Decorative Arts from the Smithsonian Associates-George Mason University program, specializing in nineteenth- and twentieth-century American ceramics and glass. As a graduate student, she completed internships at the Smithsonian Hirshhorn Museum Library, the National Museum of American History, Tudor Place Historic House & Garden, and the U.S. Department of State Diplomatic Reception Rooms. Lauren joined the Association in 2013.
