White House Stereographs

3D stereograph cards, viewed through a hand-held stereoscope, were very popular in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Often sold in sets, they offered a form of "virtual travel." We have re-created three sets, each with a handheld viewer, that documents life in the White House.

The three sets below are available for sale in our online Museum Shop.
