Title: President and Mrs. George Walker Bush

Description: President and Mrs. Bush on the White House South Lawn. President Bush is the second son of a president to later be elected to the executive office. The first was John Quincy Adams, son of President John Adams. Each summer, the Bushes converted part of the South Lawn into a baseball field for the South Lawn Sluggers. After T-ball games, the Sluggers and their families were treated to a White House barbeque.
