Title: Silver, Eisenhower Administration

Description: During the Eisenhower administration, over 1,000 gilt silver (known as vermeil) objects were donated to the White House. The pieces were put in cabinets in what is now called the Vermeil Room. Plates, pitchers, chalices, and tureens from the collection are pictured here.
