Title: Second Floor Corridor, Ford Administration

Description: The second floor corridor served as a reception room for presidential guests during the Ford administration. Its yellow walls, white wood trim, blue and yellow covered furniture, and antiques from the early 19th century complimented paintings by American artists. Bookshelves were added to the corridor during the Truman renovation, and the black screen on either side of the doorway dates from 17th century China.
