Title: Oil Portrait of Warren G. Harding

Description: During the Harding administration, the White House reopened to the public. State Rooms were part of the tour, and visitors could view the rooms from doorways with ropes across them. On weekdays the Harding would go to the State Floor before lunch and visit with tourists. While in office, President and Mrs. Harding used their own furnishings in the family quarters.
