Title: Library, Harrison Administration

Description: Always a place for first families to gather, the second-floor oval room during President Harrison’s administration was a mixture of old and new. The room contained newly installed electric lighting, several heart-backed chairs bought during the James Polk administration, and the curved bookcases built under President Millard Fillmore.
