Title: Pen and Ink Drawing of the State Floor Plan of the Jefferson White House

Description: The floor plan of the White House in 1803 shows President Jefferson’s office in the “Library or Cabinet” room in the lower left. The room was full of charts, maps, globes, and books. It had three long mahogany tables, and is now part of the State Dining Room. Jefferson’s dining room is now the Green Room.
