Title: Christmas Card, Kennedy Administration

Description: In 1962, the year of this White House Christmas card, Mrs. Kennedy gave a televised tour of the White House. She emphasized the history and art of the State Rooms and displayed the changes made to the interiors. For example, the State Dining Room had been painted cream, the Green Room was decorated in the Federal Style, and the Diplomatic Reception Room had French wallpaper containing scenes from early American life.
