Title: Oil Portrait of Franklin Delano Roosevelt

Description: During President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's twelve year occupation, hardly an inch of the White House was left unchanged. He turned the coat room into a family movie theatre. The kitchens were rebuilt, and a library was created on the ground floor. The West Wing was expanded and the East Wing, complete with bomb shelter, was constructed. In 1933, air conditioning was added to the second floor.

Date: 1947
