Title: Indoor Pool, Roosevelt Administration

Description: To allow President Roosevelt to continue his swimming therapy to ease the affects of polio, the New York Daily News held a fund-raiser to raise money to build an indoor pool in the White House. Finished in 1933, the pool was steam heated with underwater lighting.
