Title: Taft China

Description: President and Mrs. Taft celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary while in the White House. A garden party was held in their honor, and this Lenox tea set was one of the gifts they received at the event. Engraved on the blue and silver ceramic is a “T” with the dates “1886-1911”. The White House lawn was illuminated by electric lights for the party.
