The White House Historical Association, in partnership with Burnett Thompson Music, is pleased to announce the 13th season of Jazz on Jackson Place. The series, presented by Burnett Thompson, regularly sells out and has become a must-see in the hot D.C. summer music scene. Ticketed admission includes entertainment, open bar, light hors d'oeuvres, tours of Decatur House, and a chance to win raffle prizes. Come and enjoy the sultry sounds of jazz surrounded by the ambiance of historic Washington, just steps from the White House.

Howard University alum Kris Funn was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and toured internationally with saxophonist Kenny Garrett. The duo has traveled to major jazz festivals on six continents, performing with artists Sean Jones, Benny Golson, Bruce Williams, Nicholas Payton, Warren Wolf, Pharoah Sanders, Jeff Lorber, Christian Scott, Kamasi Washington, and Joey Alexander. In 2017, Kris released his debut album, Cornerstore.
