Former White House Pastry Chef Roland Mesnier will be on hand in the White House History Shop to sign his new book, Creating the Sweet World of White House Desserts, and meeting visitors. Chef Mesnier also wrote The White House in Gingerbread: Memories and Recipes. Both publications will be available for purchase in the shop and online.

Since 1962, The White House Historical Association publications program has produced award-winning books on many subjects related to the history of the President's House, from its architecture, gardens, fine and decorative arts, to the presidents and first ladies who lived there over the years. Our titles appeal to history buffs and art lovers, connoisseurs and curious amateurs, scholars and tourists, adults and children. Save the date and meet the authors of our publications. This event is free and open to the public. Questions? Contact books@whha.org or 202-218-4337
