Book Signing: Meet the Photographer Bruce M. White
The White House Visitors Center 1450 Pennsylvania Ave NW Washington DC 20230 U.S.A.

In conjunction with the Stone and Rose Exhibit, Bruce M. White will be signing books at the White House Visitor Center on Friday, September 21, from 11:30 to 2:00 p.m.

A specialist in fine art and architecture photography, Bruce M. White has served as principal photographer for White House Historical Association books for nearly 20 years. As the principal photographer for A White House of Stone: Building America’s First Ideal in Architecture, White photographed the exterior stonework of the White House in great detail, capturing details of the exquisite carvings and the texture of the unpainted sections of stone. His work highlights the intricately carved garland above the North Door including the rose motifs, which author William Seale first identified as Double Scottish Roses in A White House of Stone.
