Ale Glass and Wineglass Owned by John Quincy Adams
These ale and wine glasses were made in Britain between 1765 and 1780. President John Quincy Adams used them during his term in the White House, from 1825 to 1829. His parents, John and Abigail Adams, likely owned them previously. The elder Adams became the first occupants of the White House in 1800.
