Sarah Carter's Handprints

This photograph is of a stone holding Sarah Rosemary Carter's handprints. She was the granddaughter of President Jimmy Carter and First Lady Rosalynn Carter. The handprints are part of the Children's Garden at the White House, which was created by President Lyndon B. Johnson and First Lady Lady Bird Johnson. The secluded Children's Garden features a pathway decorated with the handprints of many presidential grandchildren.
