Pearl Harbor Bombing Speech

Following the bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, President Roosevelt delivered this speech to Congress declaring war on Japan. The message was sober but hopeful: "With confidence in our armed forces - with the unbounded determination of our people - we will gain the inevitable triumph - so help us God".
