This lithograph of the north view of the White House was created by Edward Weber & Co. in Baltimore. A horse-drawn carriage is pulling up to the portico, which was constructed in 1829-30 during the presidency of Andrew Jackson. Pierre-Jean David d'Angers' statue of Thomas Jefferson is on the North Lawn.
