Q: What is the COVID protocol?

The safety, well-being, and peace of mind of attendees at the Presidential Sites Summit are of utmost importance. We are committed to following the most current COVID-19 related county, state and CDC guidelines along with the hotel protocols. Please contact The Adolphus Hotel directly regarding their most up-to-date guidelines.

Q: What if I wish to stay elsewhere in the city?

A: There are several other hotels in Dallas where you may book your stay, however, the Adolphus is the only hotel where the White House Historical Association can offer you a discounted rate. We recommend staying at the Adolphus, as the majority of Summit sessions will take place at the hotel. Transportation to and from offsite events will be arranged for pick-up and drop-off at the hotel.

Q: Will there be parking at the Adolphus Hotel?

A: The Adolphus Hotel offers valet parking for all hotel guests. If you plan on parking, please contact the Adolphus for valet pricing and further information.

Q: How do I check-in and check-out at the Adolphus Hotel?

A: Please reference the Adolphus website for information about your hotel stay.

Q: How will I get to the offsite evening events?

A: Attendees will be transported to the offsite events located in Dallas on complimentary coach busses. You are responsible for your own transportation to the optional day trip locations.

Q: Can I bring a guest to any of the events?

A: All sessions, events, and excursions will be for registered attendees only.

Q: How can I register for the optional trips to the Sixth Floor Museum and other presidential sites and libraries in the area?

A: You can sign up for the optional trips when you register for the summit. Please note that the optional trips are not located in Dallas. If you plan to attend, please plan your own travel and accommodations accordingly. If you have already registered for the Summit, but have not signed up for the excursions, please contact PresidentialSites@whha.org.

Q: What is the dress code for Summit activities?

A: Business casual for general and breakout sessions. Business attire is appropriate for the evening events. Please dress comfortably for offsite optional events.

Q: Can I show up to the Adolphus and register the day of the Summit?

A: Same-day registrations will not be accepted. You must register in advance and online to attend.

Q: What is the White House Historical Association's photo policy?

A: The White House Historical Association (WHHA) will take photos of attendees throughout the conference. WHHA will hold the copyright to these photos and they may appear on the WHHA's website, newsletters, digital library, conference brochures, social media platforms, or other future WHHA promotional material. By virtue of your attendance, you agree to usage of your likeness in such media.
