Washington, D.C.

ID.me, the leading digital identity verification network, is proud to announce an expanded partnership with the White House Historical Association to help military members save 15 percent on the Official White House Christmas Ornament, as well as the Association’s full online offerings.

“We are flattered to be helping military members receive a discount on the entire array of White House inspired products available on the Association’s website and most especially on this festive ornament honoring our thirtieth president,” said Blake Hall, CEO of ID.me.

An incredibly popular and time-honored tradition for the holiday season, the Official White House Christmas Ornament began in 1981 to support the Association’s mission to protect, preserve, and provide public access to the rich public history of America’s Executive Mansion.

Now in its 35 year, the American-made ornament honors President Calvin Coolidge’s administration with a depiction of the first National Christmas tree. Crafted from shiny brass, the ornament is plated with nickel and 24K gold and includes an LED light feature buyers can turn on and off. Each year, the ornament is manufactured in Lincoln, Rhode Island by a veteran-owned small business.

“We are pleased to partner with ID.me to provide this small gesture of appreciation to our country’s military members and their families,” said Stewart D. McLaurin, President of The White House Historical Association.

Other online offerings by the Association include an extensive range of White House history publications, White House Collection prints, executive office gifts, children’s toys, jewelry, the full ornament collection, and many more exclusive White House inspired items.

Existing Troop ID members need only click a button and log in after adding products to their cart. New Troop ID members can sign up through ID.me in a few simple steps to redeem their instant savings. A limit of 24 ornaments, per order, for the military discount is in place.

About the White House Historical Association

First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy envisioned a restored White House that conveyed a sense of history through its decorative and fine arts. She sought to inspire Americans, especially children, to explore and engage with American history and its presidents. In 1961, the nonprofit, nonpartisan White House Historical Association was established to support her vision to preserve and share the Executive Mansion’s legacy for generations to come. Supported entirely by private resources, the Association’s mission is to assist in the preservation of the state and public rooms, fund acquisitions for the White House permanent collection, and educate the public on the history of the White House. Since its founding, the Association has given more than $115 million to the White House in fulfillment of its mission.
