Elyse Werling joined the Association in June 2018 as the Editorial and Production Manager. She has previously worked at George Washington’s Mount Vernon, George Mason’s Gunston Hall, and Historic New England, where she opened the Eustis Estate Museum near Boston, MA. She has also worked at Strawbery Banke Museum, the Sage Fashion Collection, and the Monroe County History Center (IN). Elyse is a native of Indiana and holds a BA in History and Anthropology and a Certificate in Arts Management from Indiana University, Bloomington, as well as a MA in History and Museum Studies from Tufts University. She is an alumna of the Victorian Society of America’s London Summer School and is involved in the Costume Society of America.
