After graduating from Bucknell University, Evan Phifer worked for two years with the Foundation for the National Archives before earning his M.A. in History with a Concentration in Public History from American University. While completing his graduate degree, Evan worked and interned at a variety of cultural institutions including President Lincoln’s Cottage, the Maryland Historical Society and American University Archives and Special Collections. He currently works at the White House Historical Association as a Research Historian.
