2018 Presidential Sites Summit
About this Video
The White House Historical Association hosted the Presidential Sites Summit at the historic Willard InterContinental Hotel in Washington, D.C. on August 27-30, 2018. Every two years, leaders of our shared presidential history convene for a stimulating gathering to share innovative ideas and discuss insight into the management and outreach of presidential libraries, historic homes, and museums. The theme for 2018, “Back to the White House” focused on the Executive Mansion as the thread that connects all of these sites, incorporating sessions on a myriad of topics from fundraising and philanthropy to education and digital engagement in the 21st century. “Back to the White House” set the national stage for communication and innovation among presidential sites and libraries.
