White House Historical Association Announces Mobile App Powered by AWS

Stewart D. McLaurin, President of the White House Historical Association, announced the launch of their new “Experience the White House” mobile application during the AWS Public Sector Summit in 2018. Learn more at - https://amzn.to/2IED97p.

This new app, powered by AWS, will allow people of all ages to take virtual educational tours of the White House and surrounding President’s Neighborhood. The app, available for both IOS and Android users, features three separate tour experiences for in-person visitors and those who want to learn about the White House from afar. The app also includes a Presidential Look-Alike feature that allows users to take a selfie to find out which president or first lady they most resemble based on portraits of presidents and first ladies in the White House collection.
