Hours of Operation
All buildings are closed to the public on Sundays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas and New Year's Holidays. In the event of inclement weather or other issues, we follow the Federal Government operating status.
The White House History Shop
- Hours: Monday-Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, December 23rd, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Closed from December 24th through January 1, 2024, then resumes regular hours Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The White House Visitor Center Flagship Store
- Hours: Monday-Sunday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day
