Hours of Operation

All buildings are closed to the public on Sundays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas and New Year's Holidays. In the event of inclement weather or other issues, we follow the Federal Government operating status.

The White House History Shop

  • Regular Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Please note, the White House History Shop will be closed from January 16 through January 20, 2017. Please visit the White House Visitor's Center Flagship Store during that time. The White House History Shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017.

  • Regular Hours: Monday-Sunday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Please note, the White House Visitor Center Flagship Store will be closed on January 20, 2017.
