Join us for a fun, festive day of holiday shopping, music, and treats in the White House Historical Association’s Carriage House. Guests can enjoy shopping special holiday displays and pick up their 2016 Official White House Christmas Ornament.

We will also have many of our authors at this two-day event to sign books. 

December 14

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Author Lawrence Knutson will be on hand to autograph his book, Away from the White House: Presidential Escapes, Retreats, and Vacations.

All day - Author Jonathan Pliska will be on hand to autograph his book, A Garden for the President: A History of the White House Grounds.

December 15

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Author Leslie Buhler will be on hand to autograph her book Tudor Place: America's Story Lives Here

All day - Author Jonathan Pliska will be on hand to autograph his book, A Garden for the President: A History of the White House Grounds.

December 14 & 15

All day - Former White House Pastry Chef Roland Mesnier and Chef Mark Ramsdell will be on hand to autograph their books, Gingerbread Pop-Up Book, The White House in Gingerbread Memories & Recipes, White House Cookies, and Sweet World of White House Desserts.

All day - Gift subscription sign ups for our journal, White House History, will be available, as well as presigned copies of Official White House China: From the 18th to the 21st Centuries.
