The United States Bureau of Engraving and Printing is known for the production of United States paper currency. However, over the past 150 years the Bureau has also designed and printed intricately engraved invitations for presidential inaugurations. From the elaborate ornament of late nineteenth century inaugural programs to the quiet sophistication of the Kennedy-era invitations, these printed products offer a glimpse into the history of inauguration festivities.

This event will be live streamed on the White House Historical Association's Facebook and YouTube pages starting at 5 pm ET on January 12th.
