Beatrice Hamza Bassey is an experienced C-suite executive of publicly listed companies with over 20 years of multi-jurisdictional experience as partner in a major U.S. law firm, General Counsel, as well as operational experience in being appointed by the Board to lead a company through a turnaround period and successful execution of key strategic initiatives. Ms. Hamza Bassey is a member of the board of directors of an NYSE traded company, Vornado Realty Trust where she serves on the compensation and audit committees. She previously served as a member of the board of directors of IGT PLC, and is the former chairman of Union Bank of Nigeria. Ms. Hamza Bassey served as a partner and member of the Executive Committee of a major U.S. law firm focusing on ethics and compliance, corporate governance and complex litigation. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Nigerian Law School and an LLM from Harvard Law School.
