Replacements, Ltd. Founder & CEO Bob Page lives in Greensboro, North Carolina. He grew up on his family’s small tobacco farm nearby. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Bob served in the U.S. Army, leaving active duty in 1970.

A C.P.A., Bob spent the 1970s living for his hobby of searching for china and crystal at flea markets. When Bob founded Replacements, Ltd. in 1981, he never envisioned that a business begun in his attic would grow into the world’s largest retailer of vintage and new tableware, collectibles, and estate jewelry.

The importance of family and fairness are Bob’s core values. Nothing matters more than his young adult sons, Owen and Ryan, twins adopted as infants in Vietnam. Bob works to champion equality and provide humanitarian relief. He is especially involved in Bob’s Closet, a charitable program he began that provides clothing and other household items to low-income people for free. Annually, Bob’s Closet serves thousands and shares around 60,000 items.

Among his honors, particularly meaningful are North Carolina A & T State University’s Human Rights Medal and the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, given by North Carolina’s Governor for exemplary service.
