John Giordano is an attorney, former US diplomat, environmentalist, and philanthropist. Mr. Giordano began his legal career as a law clerk for the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, after which he joined DLA Piper. He subsequently held senior government positions at both the state and federal levels, and was a federal prosecutor with the US Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of VA. Most recently, Mr. Giordano was Ambassador-designate of the US to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean. Immediately prior, he served as Public Delegate of the US to the 74th Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations with the personal rank of Ambassador. His charitable and philanthropic efforts are primarily focused on the arts and nature conservation.
