Kim Norris Abod is a native of the Washington, D.C. area. Her interest in American history has driven her to perform a range of historic preservation endeavors. She has been actively involved in the restoration of historic homes and landmarks on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and is an enthusiastic board member of the Cape Charles Rosenwald School Restoration Initiative (CCRSRI). Similarly aligned with the motto of the CCRSRI — “Keep learning. Know better. Together.” — Kim supports endeavors that expand the narrative and educational outreach of the WHHA. A retired CPA, Kim actively supports her communities and is deeply committed to her family. Kim also values investing in the natural environment and enjoys sharing it through her wildlife photography. She and her husband Craig have two grown children and live in Great Falls, VA.
