Mary Scheible was born in St. Paul, Minnesota and raised in a Chicago suburb before attending Purdue University. After a short career in the pharmaceutical field, Mary stayed home to raise her three daughters while her husband's career took their family from Cleveland, to Detroit, to Denver, and finally to Atlanta. She is currently a doting grandmother to four little grandsons and involved in the Atlanta community through volunteerism and philanthropy. Mary especially enjoys serving as a Docent at the Georgia Governor's Mansion, which led to her interest in the White House Historical Association.
