Dr. Ramon M Tallaj is an Internal Medicine Specialist in New York City. Dr. Tallaj is the Chairman of the Board of SOMOS Community Care. He oversees SOMOS’ network of health care providers and patients from largely underserved communities across the city. He has led numerous health care missions to the Caribbean throughout his career. He provides scholarships to Dominican/Latino students who are planning to work in health care and public service. Tallaj’s honors include the Ellis Island Medal of Honor and the United Hospital Fund’s Excellence in Health Care Award.
