An Introduction to Tudor Place: Kitchen

This photograph by Bruce M. White shows the kitchen at Tudor Place. Upon its 1914 renovation, when the iron stove and running water were added, it became one of the most modern kitchens in Washington, D.C. Tudor Place was the Washington, D.C., home of Thomas and Martha Custis Peter. Martha Custis Peter was First Lady Martha Washington's granddaughter.
