President and Mrs. Cleveland had five children in all: Ruth, born in 1891, Ester, born in 1893 the only child to be born in the White House, Marion, born in 1895, and two sons born after the President left office. Ruth captivated the public's interest so much so that the Curtiss Candy Company named their new candy bar "Baby Ruth" after her. Mrs. Cleveland is photographed here with baby Marion.
