The U.S. United States capturing H.B.M. Macedonian in 1812

The United States was commanded by Stephen Decatur when it overtook Captain John S. Garden's Macedonian on October 28, 1812, near the Azores in the Atlantic. Decatur captured the Macedonian and brought it to New York on December 4, 1812.
