White House History with Frank Sesno: Black Voices in the Media

The White House Historical Association’s third lecture of the 2023 Quarterly Lecture Series, White House History with Frank Sesno, took place on September 14, 2023 and covered the topic of “black voices in the media.”

The speakers for the event included Kevin Corke, White House and Senior National Correspondent for Fox News Channel; Abby Phillip, Anchor of CNN Newsnight with Abby Phillip; and April Ryan, White House Correspondent for The Grio. The speakers discussed how diversity and race in the media has shaped the presidency and those who cover it.
