Wisdom Martin and Annie Yu at the 2023 National Christmas Tree Lighting

This photograph of Wisdom Martin and Annie Yu on stage at the National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony and concert was taken by Matthew D'Agostino for the White House Historical Association on November 30, 2023. Martin and Yu were members of the local WUSA9 CBS station in Washington, D.C. and were joined on stage by a park ranger from the National Park Service. The National Park Service were recognized during the ceremony for providing the National Christmas Tree. The 2023 tree lighting was the third presided over by President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, which included host and performer Mickey Guyton and performances by Darren Criss, Samara Joy, Ledisi, Maddie & Tae, St. Vincent, Joe Walsh, Dionne Warwick, and the United States Coast Guard's Guardians Big Band.
