English Porcelain Plates in the Cleveland State Service
These English porcelain plates were made for the White House circa 1894, during Grover Cleveland's second administration. The dinner plate on the left, featuring a red rim and gold swags, was made by Wedgwood of Etruria, England. The dinner plate on the left, decorated with a gold rim and swags, was made by Minton of Stoke, England.
