Executive Chef Haller and Pastry Chef Louvat in White House Kitchen

In this photograph, White House Executive Chef Henry Haller (right) holds a loaf cake prepared by pastry chef Ferdinand Louvat (left) in the White House Kitchen. French pastry chef Louvat joined the White House Kitchen staff in 1962 during the John F. Kennedy administration, where he was employed until his death in 1967. Swiss-American Haller served as executive chef at the White House from 1966-1987. This photograph is part of Chef Haller's personal collection.
