Joe Walsh and St. Vincent Perform at the 2023 National Christmas Tree Lighting
This photograph of Joe Walsh, world-famous guitarist with the band the Eagles, and three-time Grammy-winning musician St. Vincent performing at the National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony and concert was taken by Matthew D'Agostino for the White House Historical Association on November 30, 2023. Walsh and St. Vincent were accompanied by the United states Coast Guard's Guardians Big Band. The 2023 tree lighting was the third presided over by President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden. They were joined in the festive celebration by host Mickey Guyton and performances by Darren Criss, Samara Joy, Ledisi, Maddie & Tae, and Dionne Warwick.
